We, as the membership of the South-Texas NAFC Chapter, are in the process of planning events to take wounded soldiers out fishing. There are several Military Hospitals and Military Rehab Centers in the San Antonio, Texas, area full with service men and women who have been wounded overseas. Our goal is to take them out of the sterile and often monotone environment and give them a day at the lake and perhaps help them get their minds off of thhings for a few hours.

Again, we are in the planning stages, as well in search of sponsors for some gear. We will post the dates and places of the events on here as soon as we have it all together.
