Looking for civic organizations for teens such as Boy Scouts to teach rod building to. Costs are minimal per student. So if you have such an organization feel free to contact me. The kids love it and it can lead to other outdoor activities for fishing clubs. I have taught Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Youth Service Bureaus and Boy Scouts and they all loved the class and the end result. Vern

i am 15 & live in NJ & have tryed to build rods with my uncle but wasn't very sucsessful. i am not in boy scouts but i LOVE fishing & if there was a way i could take that rod building class ( joinin a group, ect.) i would VERY MUCH appreciate it . if there is any way i can do this please contact me at daveguy410@aim.com

Ill email you some info asap, there is a group called NERBS who are all over the NE area and I believe in NJ. I will check and let yoiu know. I may have one of them contact you directly. They also donate rods to the troops.
