As a veteran, cancer survivor and family man.. fishing has always been a part of my life and showing others the grace, beauty and closeness fishing can bring anyone is amazing.. I was taking our girls out for a short trip by the house and a person there had never fished and was way off on gear and bait and the others with him just left him to fend for himself.. After changing baits to what I brought he caught one on the first cast and 3 more right behind that and then his little group moved over to where he and I were fishing and the smile on his face and the fact that he was bragging and enjoying fishing showed my kids how cool it is to help others and how they enjoy catching fish too... So yes please support us veterans but truly anyone can be a memory to the pur joy of fishing.. Spend 5 mins with those around you and meet them or even better bring someone new with you and then meet new people there.. Everyone wins........ Fish 4 life......
