I grew up on lake Ontario and literally fished every day as a kid but I never really new how to catch fish. I joined the club a couple months ago because I wanted to reintroduce myself to fishing and I wanted to really start to learn how to catch fish too. So here I am just putting myself out there and seeing what happens. Thanks. David

I live in Pitman probably just a few miles or so from you. I really like any kind of fishing but have done mostly worm on hook freshwater. I like salt water fish but know very little about it because I grew up on fresh water. I really like the way salt water fish fight.

I've never striper fished before but I new the season was right about now. I have heard allot of people catch them off bridges too. I am currently disabled but I'm not complaining , I probably can't afford a boat trip. Are stripers more of a live bait fish or a lure fish? I'll have to do some online research.

I am going to stay with my cousin for Thanksgiving in Delaware. She has allot of friends who fish so we will probably get out to the water while I am there. I love to fish it is one of the greatest activities I know. I have sort of pushed that feeling out of my mind allot lately because lets face it few people can actually fish all the time and for me the expenses have been to much for my bank account. But when I posted on this forum and started talking about fishing that love for the sport came back like an obsession. Now all I can think about is getting my stuff and getting to the water. So anyway all the lakes, streams and coasts will still be there when the time is right for me to get out there.
