Wow 151...u sure your only 15? Me, I can't stand the Beetles...I'm into hard rock/metal, right now my favorite band is All That Remains:song is "Two Weeks", I'm also into Bullet for My Valentine, Five Finger Death Punch, Ax7...the list goes on and on. My all time favorite group is Motley Crue. I've must have seen them in concert about a dozen times, my favorite song from the Crue is Too Young To Fall In Love.

Come on '151! You might as well have asked me to pick my favorite lure. How do I even narrow it down? I guess my favorites are those tunes where the guitar sounds like it's lookin' for a fight...you know...sounds like the amp is on fire and about to blow. Something like Van Halen's "Runnin' with the Devil". Now why can't Bill Dance or Jimmy Houston use that for their intro song?

This list could take a while to write. If you narrow it down to genre of rock or time period it would be easier. My iPod has songs from 1940's to present in almost evey music genre I can think of. I like music. Bluegrass to rap. Overall favorite rock song is impossible. But if I had to pick a few, I'll go with Simple man (either Skynard or Shinedown), something from Nirvana's Nevermind album, and Blue Oyster Cult's Fear the Reaper. Throw a Clapton song in there for good measure
Good things come to those who bait... Hoss in Wa

Slipknot, A7X, Van Halen is all good stuff, all my friends are into A7X with a passion, but for me, its all about Slayer. Greatest metal album in history is Reign in Blood. However, best rock song in my opinion has to be Stairway to Heaven by Zeppelin. That song is legitimately spiritual, you could build a religion around that song. Jimmy Page is a complete god. Gotta love that double neck SG!

Ha ha ha that's a tough one for me cause I have never been into rock in the traditional sense. I grew up in New York City listening to WABC and their Top Pop 40 songs. They played a mixture of rock, oldies, soul music, some cross over Latin music, country and western, etc. I accepted it as Top 40 Pop. I was so convinced of it that I got into an heated discussion with a guy in my unit when a country song came on the radio and he said that was good country music. I said it was Top Forty Pop. He showed me an LP album cover with the liner notes where I was proven wrong. That was my introduction into Country & Western music. I like some Country & Western love songs as long as it isn't a "Cry in your beer", twangy love song. I like some of the theme songs from Western movies and t.v. shows. I like R & B, Soul music, Latin and Salsa, plus some foreign language music I was exposed to during my duty assignments around the world. Sometimes I listen to Opera and at other times I listen to Ina Gada Vida, In the year 2121, One is the loneliest number and Stairway to Heaven. It just depends on my mood. I do appreciate it when the younger generation listens to and likes older music. Tight lines to all.
