Hi, I would like to find places to go shore fishing. I am not into urban fishing...I was looking at the lakes in this state and it seems like fool hollow could be it but it is 3+ hours...Alamo is a bit closer...I am in Maricopa, Az..can anyone help...I already know I have to add at least a half hour from where I live...Thanks much

There are a few places you can go. One is Bartlett Flats at Bartlett Lake. There is also a fishing pier there, but the water level is too low to use it at present. There are also 3 fishing piers at Saguaro Lake. Castle Creek Cove at Lake Pleasant can be quite productive from shore after the lake fills up again.

Hi, and Congrats to you(saw the vet handle)...I am also a vet- 22Yrs...Bartlett Flats is closed at this time due to the rains washed out the road..was there about a month ago..Haven't tried Pleasant yet...that will be next on the list....I thank you very much for the info......<(;o}
