What's a good reel to match with the St. Croix Eyecon!?

    I just recently purchased the 6'6" med-light fast action St. Croix Eyecon rod, and I am wondering what are some good reels to go along with the rod. I want to make sure I get a nice reel that will balance the combo out. I will be fishing for Walleyes most of the time. I've heard a lot of good reviews about the Pflueger President XT, and was wondering if that would be a good combo? I'm open for other ideas for reels as well and any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    I can see the Pflueger President making a great choice for that rod. I say go for it.
    Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!
