Hello Everyone, I know this question sounds really basic, but I'm trying to understand the difference between a Texas Rig and a Carolina Rig and which would be best to use with a tube jig. Can anyone out here point me to some good illustrations of a Texas rig, a Carolina Rig and could someone also point me to an illustration of a good slip float rig? Thanks Jason

Here's some pics of different rigs I got of the internet(just search for the specific rig type, there are full descriptions on how to set up and fish).  I hope this helps.

    carolina rig

    drop shot rig

    texas rig

    slip float rig

ya'know, this fishin club has some really good articles on how to rig in both formats. Check the bass fishing archives. Excellent illistrations.
