Crappie Fishing Ky/Barkley  Lakes:  I have never fished for Crappie these Lakes thought about Trolling for them this Spring, has any one had any luck this way?

I have my most luck trolling for crappies with crankbaits over weed beds in the middle of summer, but spring would probably work too, although the crappies will probably be in the shallows because of their spawning time, so a shore approach would probably work decently, too.

There have been a couple of articles on this in the mag. It is too bad there is no way to search the archives by subject matter! Tom
