The best I can do is narrow it to three...and that was hard to do!
1. EARLY in the morning a black Musky Jitterbug will bring them to the top quicker than any buzzbait.
2. In the spring, burn a big 1/2oz. spinnerbait through the shallows.
3. In the fall, drop a weightless wackyworm on 'em.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

All year round, my go to lure is a Mepps Aglia spinner, and firetiger is my color of choice. I like fishing it around vegetation for the biggest fish, but sometimes just throwing it out and bringing it over open water can produce when the big boys are in the mood.

The number one thing to do is make sure the lake has big bass in it . Not every lake holds big bass some are good at producing numbers others are known for producing size.
check with you local fishery department .
IF YOU WANT A GOOD READ CHECK OUT Doug Hannons Big Bass Magic . It is LOADED with advice . You may be able to find it in your local library system .
Take a kid fishing , If the fish aint biting entertain them.
