I was wondering what lure works best for you when fishing for smallmouth

Depends   I have a favorite lure on every rod in the boat when fishing smallmouth!  I like crankbaits/stickbaits/lipless, bass jigs, spinnerbaits/buzzbaits, topwater baits like poppers and torpedos and soft plastics (tubes, grubs, worms, lizards, creatures/craws, etc) on texas, carolina, drop shot rigs, to name a few.  My go to smallmouth baits are a Strike King Mini King spinnerbait, crawfish colored crankbaits, and tubes or drop shot worms in natural colors

My personal favorite smallie lure is a wacky rigged white Senko that I used in clear water at Lake George in upstate NY. However, thats also the only time I've ever fished for smallmouth, but thats the best I've got.

I fish for them on rivers a lot and crawdad patterned crankbaits are my go to bait.

I think Hoss just about covered it!! They are all good at different times.
