I seem to remember seeing in your new tackle a spinnerbait. Looked like yellow or chartreuse, that would be a good bait to start with, try to get a reaction strike. Toss it over to those cattails in the video you made. If you can, throw it along the bank, make long parallel casts to the bank. Try burning it on top first, if that don't work slow down and let it sink a little more on the retrieve. If all that fails, go back to the Texas rigged green pumpkin/red flake lizard. Try the black/blue tail also. There is no "set in stone" rule for color use. GENERALLY, in clear water black or white works good, in stained water chartreuse. But what is your definition of clear? What's the fish's definition of clear? As you can see, there are a lot of variables, so don't be afraid to experiment.

The yellow looking one with the spinner on it?

And sadly you cant get over to those cat tails because you need a boat and you cant put boats in there lol,

But should i fish the weeds?

Yes, that's the spinnerbait. They are one of the best baits ever created for bass fishing. I caught 4 bass on one this morning. It doesn't really matter if its cattails, weeds, stumps, rocks or whatever...just try to find one of these things and cast to it. These items are places that baitfish hide, so bass are bound to hang around them too.

Yes, you fish it as is. You should be able to cast it just fine if your baitcaster is set up properly. Do you know how to do this? If not I can walk you through it. This is one of the reasons why I suggested a spinning or spincast reel for you to start with. If you have any money left from selling your PS3 you might want to buy an easier to cast outfit.

Wow...you sold your PS3??? I wish my son would sell his, or atleast take a break from it. I fish between 2-3 times a week on my boat and I have to damn near beg him to come out and fish. It's nice to see young people interested in the sport.

Not that hard... It was either buy $50 -$60 games and beat them in a week or buy 25 Pieces of gear for around that and enjoy fishing out at the pong getting some vitiman C and enjoying the outside, No only if i could catch some fish

Man id love to go out on a boat it throw my PS3 off a bridge to go fishing on a boat

When you say "Burn it on the top" do you mean reel it in fast so its on the top??

Yep. If you reel in fast enough the spinner blade will break the surface, but most times, you will want it JUST under the surface. You will see a bulge in the surface as the lure swims toward you. Also, the higher you hold your rod tip the slower you can bring it in and still keep it on top. When I am working a spinnerbait, I usually start on top and if I don't get any action up there I start working my way deeper. The spinnerbait is an easy lure to master, just get out on the water and start tossing it. You'll get the hang of it pretty quick.
