Any surface lure. I use single and double buzz baits, poppers, chuggers, and walk the dog baits. I particularly like Hula Poppers, Jitterbugs, Pop-Rs, Zera Spooks, and Bubblehead fly rod poppers.

I fish multi species and use Jigs 75% of the time.
Colors depend on conditions but anything with chartruce works for me.

I love my crankbaits, a Strike King in Tennessee shad does the trick for me, though my favorite overall thing in general to use for bass is a BH Prince Nymph. Caught my first bass on the fly with one of those, it was 2 inches long but it still counts! Great little fly, and Strike King makes some great cranks for bass. You'll never find me on the water without one each.

Thats a tough question. My favorite bait changes from day to day, month to month, year to year. 09 was senkos. 10 was Rapala X Rap. 11 was wakebaits. 12 is YTBD. Crainkbaits seem to always work, so maybe that is my overall favorite.

If I can narrow it to two I'd say a Strike King Mini King and a 6" Zoom lizard. Those are my best producers lifetime. There are some other baits that I do really well with, but those are my favorites and I always have plenty of each around
Good things come to those who bait... Hoss in Wa

I have tried a bunch and have by far had the most success with a Texas rigged black worm with blue flakes.

Berkly Power Bait 7 inch Power Worm in Motor-Oil and Culprit 10 inch worm in Crawdad are my go to baits. If I don't catch something on these two, I pack it in for the day. Sadly, I'm down to my last 10-pack of the Power Worms and can't find them in Motor-oil anywhere. I think they're discontinued and no other worm the same color comes even close. Now I'm trying them in Pumpkinseed but it's just not the same.

Hey Redneck, I was just looking at Berkley's website, and they have the motor oil and motor oil/red flake Power Worms on there. Another great color is the natural earthworm...also hard to find in the stores. Despite all these new formulas for plastic worms, good ol' Power Worms still produce more bass for me.

Any top water bait for me. Not that I catch more fish on them, boy I wish! It's the strike of the bass on a top water that makes it my favorite.

Jigs and topwater all around. In the fall, nothing beats a spro frog though. Got a 6lb lunker on a spro this year at a local pond. Almost lost her, had to jump in and grab her. Totally worth the wet shoes

Lipless crankbaits! With the right size, color, and retrieve, there isn't any condition you can't catch bass in. Except for extremely thick grass.

I have had the most luck with Texas rigged worms and Chatterbaits

Spring time: Space Monkey or Smoking Rooster on a shakey head jig, Joe's Flies, Berkley Sick Minnows on weighted swimbait hook
Summer: Hollow body frogs, flipping jigs, wedge head jigs with crawfish or creature bait trailers, 10" worms on a weighted jig head
Fall: the one and only lure I use all fall long is the Huddleston Deluxe Golden Weedless Shad

    Fishing area is Central PA.

Mine has to be a crankbait from Bandit "splaterback" color in 100 or 200 sieries.
Although i got turned onto wacky worm fishing in the "lakes" last year and for a slow finese bait I tore up the smallies so will do more of that this year if the weather ever warms up. Warm weather cant get here fast enough for me.

My all time favorite bass lure... Is probably a cheap country store carded generic trout spinner. I hardly ever fish in-lines anymore. I don't even think I have any in the boat, but I "figured out" my first fishing presentation problem and caught my first bass on one in 1974 at this spot:

    https://maps.google.com/?ll=32.839043,-114.440318&spn=0.000798,0.001206&t=h&z=20

My dad saw bass stacked up under the wash bridge, but the current was ripping that day. No way to fish it according to him. I suggested we cast in-lines across the current and back wind them to let them sweep under the bridge were the bass were hanging out in the shade. The current spun the blades, and for the first half dozen casts each we got slammed on every back wind and sweep. When we didn't get bit right away we would have to burn them back to keep them from getting swept into the bank.

Yeah, I know. A bunch of internet scouters are going to pound that spot now, but it might be worth it just to tell the tail. When I die put a plaque there that says I caught my first bass in that spot in 1974. LOL.
