Need some help on deciding between a Trac pontoon 35 or a Minn-Kota deckhand pontoon 40. Pros & cons please. |

A friend of mine has this problem with his electric winch. I just deploy and recover my anchors by hand. |

You might want to read reviews in Cabela's on line. Most seemed to like Trac better. My first Trac burned out in season and 1/2,but I was using too heavy anchor.I went to heavy one, works better, but NOISY!Best price is Overton,s.

I've got the Trac 35 and haven't had problems for the 4 years I've owned it. I bought it at Bass Pro for under $150. |

I have 2 @ Anchor Mates manual for my Matthew 16' boat, I just push the released button and the mushroom weight goes down, cranking it up isn't hard. Sometime you may have to use some muscle but to this date never had a problem with it. To me the more electrical equipment you put on the boat more the problems you'll be looking and have to check out.
