    I am looking for/at Jack plates.I am putting a boat dock in along the river and it is a little shallow at times. I was wanting one to try n help save the lower unit on my boat. I do not know much about them so I was hoping to get some help.Any info would be of help.

    I have had a CMC jack plate for about 6 years. It works perfectly. I can adjust the motor height while sitting. I paid about $900 for it and to have it installed and don't regret it.
