I was given a float tube that my dad found at a yard sale. I don't think it had ever been used but it is missing the stabilizer bar. I have never owned one or been around them. What could I use to replace the stabilizer bar? I can't find the company that makes it online. Would a dowel rod work or should I use something else like maybe pvc pipe? Also the pockets where it would fix are angled down a little bit. Do I need to use something with the same angle?
