I've got a beautiful Sevylor Fish Hunter 360 that I love to death and would love to fish out of more if only the truck were available more often. As for customization, only thing I've ever thought of doing was getting the motor mount and a trolling motor for it, but decided against it because of portability. How do you transport your boat, JMFD? I'm trying to figure out an alternative to tying it on the roof and having to stay under 40 mph (which means no highway)

@skewl yea man i understand the need of portability that is why i got my excursion 4 cause all i have is my car to transport everything and i mean it works great i can fit the boat, motor, motor mount, cooler and tackle box and one fishing pole but i mean i drive a Buick park ave and thats got a really big trunk so i dont know what your working with on trunk space

I have a nine foot pontoon that i deflate and put in a small SUV like a jeep liberty.I don,t like to use hand pump takes time and and wears you out pretty quickly,i carry a portable air tank that holds 120psi have it rigged up to a couple of adapters to fill up my pontoon works very well.Depending on size of boat you might want to carry a hand pump to completely fill it up with air. They sale these portable air tanks at any auto parts store,i have one from wallmart works great.Hope this helps.

Maybe another option would be a 12 volt air compressor that plugs into a cigarette lighter or accessory outlet in your vehicle. I've seen them on the net for as low as $15.00.

I'm sure you don't need the high pressure capabilities of an air compressor, so a 12 volt air pump designed for air mattresses might be a good choice too. They most likely deliver a much higher CFM than a compressor and would be quieter too.

The portable air tank you fill up at home very lite and holds a lot of air.Hope i didn't confuse you with an air compressor.
