    dead bait or chicken liver usually does the best for me....i like rivers over lakes because i usually catch bigger cats out of a river.....

    i am from poca westvirginia , and i always had great luck catching catfish on worms & nightcrawlers !

    I live in winfield and at the locks and dam we use live bluegill shiners for flatheads and just about anything for the channels

    What part of Kentucky Eastern Ky Carr creek lake(Knott County) Martians fork lake And stone Mountain lake (Harlan county) Buckhorn lake( Perry County)depends on what type of catfish carr creek has flathead so i use live bait and chickenliver the other lakes dont have flathead so i use cut bait and chicken liver
