I have had much success over the years with cut bait using herring in warm water. This year it seems the fish have completely turned off and are not eating at all. What do you use in warm water that you are having success with?

Caught my pb channel this year on frozen squid. If you have Asian supermarkets ( Chinese, Phillipino, etc.) in your area you can buy it there.

I've fished a local lake twice in the last two weeks that has a surface temp of 87 - 90 degrees. I had pretty good luck fishing deeper water ( old river channel ) with both live and cut shad.
