    Here's a quick preview of the pattern I've been working on for the next swap.Extended tail version of the DRAGONFLY, on the trial flew okay, flying on a hand tied leader didn't seem to help, but it did catch fish.Let me know what'a think.

    Tying on a leader didn't seam to help ,are you trying to get them to float or what ?

    Hand tied leader (which I do each winter for the following year) vs. store bought leaders with no knots.An yes they do float the tails are treated with Flex seal much like you do for deer hair bugs and the wings are buck tail, they float high then it's like just 
    into the surface film held there due to the wings,it's actually quite well, just a bit to fly,what with the wings sticking out an all.
