Hi I live and fish in NW Montana for Lake Trout (Macs) and have been having, to me, a puzzling problem. I have an underwater camera and can see the Macs comming in and they stop just inches from my set-up and i can't get them to bite. I've thrown everything in my tackle box @ them and nothing seems to work to get them to go that extra step into biting. Something I noticed is every one of them gets close and then "flares" there gills while opening and closing their mouth. Is there something to that? Am I doing/not doing something? I'm open to any tips or comments on getting them. Thanks and good luck fish'n |
