Well I can catch them in fresh water and in inshore salt water but none of them are larger than a saucer for a tea cup. They hit nightcrawlers mostly but sometimes shrimp and eggs.

Where can I expect to find the ones that are at least large enough to eat? What bait should I try? Is there a time of year that is best here? Can anyone please help me find the table fair that has eluded me? I have seen them up to 3 pounds in the gill nets but have never seen one caught larger enough to eat.

HELP ME! I have a jones for a good flounder bake and hate to pay for it from the local fish market!
