I do mostly freshwater fishing and i want to start learning more about saltwater fishing. I will be going to Lido Key, Fl in July and I will hope to be catching some redfish and snook. What you you recommend I use for bait /lures? Any advice at all will be appreciated. Thanks.

Just like bass fishing, I own 2 tackle boxes full of lures for inshore salt.   You can't go wrong with a Mann's gold spoon, Mirrodines, Twitchin' Raps, Zara Spooks, Poppa Dog, bucktails, live shrimp, Gulp shrimp or jerkshad on jighead or weighted/weedless hook.  20.30.40 Lb fluoro leader. 

     Of course if you can get live mullet/white bait, that would be the best(cut/chunk for reds)
