I would like to fish the Venice area in late March for 2 or 3 days for redfish & specks. Anyone recommend a guide with reasonable rates and a good place to stay. Thanks for any help.

Johnny, try Adventures South with Capt. Shane Mayfield or MLC Charters with Capt. Dan Dix. All the guides in the area run around $600 for a day trip. I have been with MLC and had a good time didn't catch as many fish as we hoped but was worth it. I haven't fished with Shane but hear he is real good. Stay away from Brent Roy and Venice Charters went with him once , caught a lot of fish but he was a real a-hole.
