The weather has been terrible here in Southeast Georgia lately with the wind blowing almost at gail standards.  I was trying to persuade one of those local bass to bite and saw a boat in a neighbors yard just lift up off the ground, do a one and half and settled back into its resting spot.  Shortly after I made my way to the house.  Yesterday my oldest daughter came in for a couple of days.
I went to town and bought some crickets, worms, and minnows to fish from the bank with.  My legs continue to give me trouble.
I picked my grand daughter up from school and they decided to drown some crickets--instead it was one huge bluegill after the other.  No matter how long you fish you always get joy out of watching your kids catch fish.  The grand daughter gets so tickled that the rest of us can hardly fish laughing with her.  Hope the rest of you are enjoying today as much as me.  Uncle Tom
I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.

My partner and I went fishing over the 1st and 2nd and the bluegill bite was ON! We caught 2 largemouth, 1 smallmouth, 2 yellow bass, 7 channel cats, and at least 75 bluegill! I too love taking my 11 year old granddaughter fishing. She loves it. I just gave her an Shakespeare spinning reel and Abu Garcia rod for her birthday 2 weeks ago to upgrade her from her old Zebco spincast rig that was last years birthday present.

I don't get to fish with my grandkids much as we all live in seperate areas but it is always nice when you can see one so happy that their smile is ear to ear.

The Bream have been biting great here in north MS as well. I believe I caught well over 50 Saturday and ended up keeping 14 of them that were bigger then my hand. The little brown crickets were being hit as soon as they hit the water. Between my fishing buddy and I, we through back over 100 that day. It was pretty good day. :-)
