There's a technique around my area in which guys (legally) aquire dead, frozen trout (I believe stock trout that do no survive the stocking procedure)and lay them on the bottom for massive pike. Some of the biggest pike that are caught nearby come in this manner. Has anyone ever tried it? I'm heading on a pike trip, and I'd be interested in trying it if it works.
