Today started out not on the best note, it's a long weekend up here in Canada and my fishing partner had a family emergency, so he couldn't come along, so I was tossing the idea around if I should throw the boat in the water. The usual lake that I fish was a mess at the boat launch so I went to a different lake that I have not fished in a long time. Started out slow and then a 48 inch Pike and a 40 inch, kept the 40 and it's frying as I type, between the two of them I fought fish for a half an hour. Gotta love it.
