    No I have a 1/4 to 5/8 oz meduim fast action 7' rod that I love and don't want to break throwing 7.5" sluggos.

    i have a 6.5' medium action rod that i use to throw my 7.5" slugo's. it holds them but is hard to throw. i use it because it's the heaveys action rod i have.
