I'm looking about taking a fishing trip this summer up to canada. I'v never been there before and was wondering if anyone knew of any great places to visit while up there and fish. I'm looking to mainly target pike and smallmouths... thanks

Last time I checked, Canada was a fairly large country. Lac La Marte is supposedly one of the best of the North American pike lakes, but might be 2000 miles from where you are headed. It really helps to know where you are going to be fishing before trying to answer a question. Tom

To try to narrow things down, you can start with Quebec, Saskatchewan or Northern Ontario....?

Rainy Lake and Lake of the Woods in Northern Ontario. There are a bazillion resorts to choose from on both those lakes and they can be found easily on the internet. We have a cottage on Rainy Lake and I've fished Lake of the Woods so I can attest to the quality of fishing!
