Me and my brother in law are looking for a fishing buddy in Ogden UT, that knows how, when, and were to catch tiger muskie we have researched it and have the basic concept but need someone experienced to give us some pointers!!!
life is much better when you live it outdoors!!!!

Hi again fish king. I also posted about tiger musky in the utah section. I got a few repies from other folks that you may want to check out. I am not knowledgeable on musky but would not mind going out for some. shoot me an email and maybe we can get together for a trip. brian.petersen@imail.org

Wish I could help on the boat part. I got a 14' aluminum that i am working on but with the rate i am going it will not be ready till spring. be more than happy to kick in a few bucks to help with gas or whatever.

thats all good man we have a little raft for now lol it works but we're hoping to get a boat by the spring time too so we can go for the muskie

Try fishing with something with a rattle in it. Deeptail dancers, husky jerks and deep down husky jerks work well for me.

hey thanks wellsley we just bought a fire tiger lure with a rattler so we'll give that a try now we just need to get a better boat then our raft haha

The boat in the pic is a 12' rowboat. I started with that added an electric trolling motor. But couldn't keep the batttery charged while camping. Added seats rod holders then bought a used 6hp motor and even added a manual down rigger. I've caught some nice fish from that boat.

yeah we're not looking for nothing big but ours is an inflatable raft so we just worry about a muskie biting it and popping it do you live in utah?

yeah that does suck!! well any type of info i can get about tiger muskie will be greatly appreciated from anyone thanks guys

Another tip I can give you is use very sharp hooks. There mouth area is very bony don't be afraid to drive that hook home.

and get you something that you can grab them with that won't hurt them and pertect yourself. or ya might get yer self hurt......
