I am quite new to early season muskie fishing.  I am wondering about what temperature muskies spawn?  I have a fishing trips planned from the first Saturday in May through October planned.  I was wondering if you have any tips for fishing this early in the season.  Any information will be of great help.
    Thanks, Eric.

Eric: I don't know where you are so it is hard to judge the seasons. I'm not a muskie guy but do fish pike. Pike spawn very early, right after ice out or actally under late ice and I would think cousin Muskie will be close to that. A good source for muskie info is muskie411. Tom

I live in central Wisconsin.  The musky season opens the firstSaturday of May in the Southern zone and the last Saturday of May for the northern zone.  Most of the time, I do not start musky fishing until June.  Since I am hoping to get a month head start, I need a little help trying to put a few things together.
