    My buddy Danny and I caught stripers at Lake Pleasant over the weekend using frozen squid for bait cut into strips. They would hit it as soon as it reached the depth where they were located

    Cool! Never heard of that one before.

    If they are hitting that you may try a 5 or 6 in. curly tail jig. Black and ,or yellow work in the salt. Good to have along encase you run out of bait.

    in salt we do the same. same results to. i use diffrent baits though i use sqind for summer flounder

    Same here...Fluke hit the squid hard...and every now and then, while Fluke fishing, you'll get a striper to hit the squid as well, usually it's a schoolie bass. I've never had a keeper bass on squid. A keeper being 28in in NY.
