Sadly, there isn't many people on the forums, anymore. The only member that regularly visits the forums from Washington is Captain Quantum. |

And here I am! Ha ha! There are a few Washingtonians on here. And I also just got back from fishing in Oregon as well. |

I'm on the east side. I don't get out for salmon or steelhead as much as I'd like to, but we have a pretty good trout fishery, or so I'm told. I'm more a bass and walleye kinda guy |

I'm here too! I just don't post a lot. I check the Washington postings regularly but no one seems to be putting much up. I've even replied to some and haven't received any response when I did. I can see how it seems there isn't anyone in Washington. |

I will start trying to post more topics in the Washington forum. Once I get to start fishing I will post pictures and stories. If the weather would just warm up already that is! |

I browse through here a bit. I live in Tacoma and pretty much fish all around here. Favorite stomping ground is right by Mossyrock. Id like to get more into fishing the rivers but I dont know much about the rules or any hot spots. I hear the Springers have been more difficult than usual from a few guys around here. Ive had some nice rainbows and cutthroat so far. Lookin at snatching a few good catfish, tiger muskie and white sturgeon next weekend. Had enough of the panfry. Id like some big game now. |

I live in Mount Vernon and have fished the lower Skagit for 60 years. Salmon, Sea Run Cuts, and Dollys. I fished the Columbia out of Kalama for Up River Brights (Kings) for ten years with my brother in law until he passed away 3 years ago. Bummer. I lived in Kalama in the sixtys and fished the Kalama River for Steelheads then, not sence tho. Waiting for the river to open on June first. I am no expert on catching fish but do know how to fish the Lower Skagit. Local long term local knowledge is the key on any fishery. It took my brother in law and myself 2 years to learn how to fish the Columbia for Kings. We caught 8 the first year, 15 the second and 42 the third. Later Lowwater |

My boats in need of repair too. Apparently I didnt have one of those steering cables that last a lifetime and mine is completely seized. Which if you do hear of anyone making a lifetime lasting cable let me know. This sux having to shore fish again. It hasnt been all bad though I have robbed the lady of the lake a few times with some beautiful trout. Looking forward to hitting some lakes and snatching up some steelies soon. I know theres a few lake open already but Ive got to get the right gear first. |
