    Fishing Merrill Creek Reservoir this fall every weekend (weather permitting). Looking for anyone that is interested in going. 14 ft. Jon Boat, largest trout so far was 7lbs, but there are many that exceed 10lbs.

    Do you keep the lake trout and if so how do you prepare them?

    I haven't kept any yet, never a fan of trout due to the consistancy of the meat, too mushy for me personally. However I have had smoked trout which was tasty and nice texture.
