I ALWAYS take my DSLR with me when I go trout fishing. I never know when the perfect moment is going to occur. A few weeks ago, I became commissioned for a series. Now a days, I laugh and say I take my fishing pole along when I go stream photographing.

This was my favorite shot from yesterday. The clouds came over the sun just as I was touching the shutter and it gave me this cool effect.

Cool pics. If I was a stoner those would look "trippy."

Thanks! I love the intensity of rushing water, and see the beauty behind it.
My commission started this spring, when I accidentally had my settings wrong on my camera taking pictures of a guest I was fishing with. When I pulled the picture up on the big screen after I got home, I thought it was a cool picture, and I posted it on Facebook.
A guy messaged me saying he really liked the photo, he mentioned that he wanted new pictures for his office and wanted a quote. I shot him a number and he accepted.
He's gong to buy 20 prints from this series.

Maybe you should take that Spinner guy down there and have a beer and fish and bury the hatchet!
