I just read an article on the home page about a guy in Minnesota that got busted for over limit on walleye. I live in the greater Chicago area and from time to time fish Devil's Lake, ND. The possesion limit in ND is 10 fish. When I fish ND, I take Amtrak to and from which means traveling through Min. on the way home. Sounds like I am subject to arrest. Tom

lol could be..... they'll always find a way to get ya..... a mi dnr guy used to go around and dump 100 pounds of corn at peoples tree stands  take a pic of the pile and arrest them.....    untill someone he did it to had a trail cam on his bait pile.

Best not travel through Northern Ontario also then cause our possession limit is 4, with only 1 over 18". The possession limit for a non-resident on Rainy Lake is even lower at 1 walleye per person.

  As long as you have a valid fishing lic from ND you will be fine. Its always best to mark your packages with the date, body of water, type of fish and number of fish  etc. Some states require you to leave a part of the skin on the fillet's for  ID. Also carry a copy of the fishing regulations.
