I don't know where you or Lake Meridith is...but if it's a lake that does not freeze over, use crawlers and leeches. If it does freeze over, use live minnows. Troll the crawlers/leeches and jig the minnows. Either of these presentations will let you know what the 'eyes prefer. From there, you can match the artificials to the live. Good luck!
