I'm starting to hear reports of walleye below the local dam but haven't made it up there yet and the bait shop is still closed. The dam in question is on the Fox river just below the Wi. line. Any one else getting any reports? Tom

I have a buddy talked into going over to the Mighty Mississippi this comming wensday, around La Cross. By the sounds of your posts, the rivers arn't open yet??? If so do you know any hot spots/lures/style that will help a couple guy's catch some fish... Thanks Bob H.

The Fox here is open and starting to return to more normal levels. For a while it was closed to boating due to high water but has re-opened at no wake. Reports of walleye have been sketchy at best, so I hesitate to lay on a trip just yet. Tom
