Are these recipes ball recipes or are they breakdown?  Trying to figure out if you just put this on the hook or if you need to use pops. Sorry if this sounds some what stupid. I'm new at Carp fishing. Just getting started.

Thanks for the recipes hillbillyangler. I read in one of your other posts that you fished with "Herkel".  I used to work at and still fish at 84Lakes (it's 5 minutes from home).  Anyway he is "the man" on the carp lakes.  Thanks for the recipes and tightlines.

Thanks. I liked the layout of your forum and the knowledge you are offering on this forum as well. I plan on focusing on the carp a lot more this year so I will be a sponge for knowledge. Something about the fight they put up.

    Easy Boilie Recipe
    1 cup Soy Flour
    1 cup Corn Meal
    1 teaspoon Non-Iodized salt
    2 tablespoons Sugar
    2 Eggs
    Flavor of your choice

Dry Mix the Soy Flour, Corn Meal, Salt and Sugar and set aside.

In another bowl beat the 3 eggs and mix in the flavor of your choice.
If using R&W or Superior or K-1 use 2-3 capfuls, mix it in the beaten eggs

Now mix the eggs in the Dry mix wrking it through till you get a big dough ball.

Roll the dough into the size balls you want your boilies to be and drop them in a boiling water (a rolling boil) till they float, after they float a minute or two remove and put on drying racks.

Drying racks can be old refrigerator grill, 1/4" hardware cloth, screen ect.

Let them dry a day or so then bag them up in a gallon zip lock bag and keep them in the refridgerator.

*I also put soaked/boiled bird seed in mine, I add these to the dry mix when I add the eggs. Use Birdseed for "Finches" I add about 1/4-1/2 cup

    Pie Fillings and glazes
ok here's a little gem I will give up that was shown to my by the bait miester himself herk. I know for a fact I use them and so does jimmy and they work really well.

the next time your in a grocery store , head to the bakery and ask the folks there for some raspberry glaze/filling , strawberry , blueberry etc. then mix this with your oat pack/flake bait. Course I have only used these at pay lakes and never in the wild , but trust me when I say it hauls.

    * A Simple bait recipe to use with these fine gems......

1 carton of Ole Fasion Oats
    1 Can of Cream Corn
half a cup of the glaze
    Sea Salt

    simple soy Dough/Paste bait
here's a recipe I just tried , I started playin' in the kitchen and did this up.
    Ingredients:
2 cups of soy flour 2 cups of corn meal flour 2 Eggs 3 tsp of oil ( I used veggie oil ) Flavoring Mix the eggs , Oil , and flavoring in a mixing bowl. Once this is done slowly stir in the dry Ingredients. once it starts to turn and get sticky , start to work it with your hands. Now with anything with eggs You have to refrigerate if not in use. this makes just over two pounds of paste/dough. I really like this recipe and it has worked for me.

    Corn boilie
this recipe is one I just finished. 2-Cups of corn meal flour 2-Cups of soy flour 2- 1/4 cups of hemp seeds 2- Pinch of sea salt 3- Glugs of amino acids 8- Glugs of flavoring 4-raw eggs 4-tbsp of oil ( veggi , corn , hemp Etc ) Simply add all of the dry Ingredients together in a bowl. the mix the wet Ingredients together in a bowl. for each egg add a tbsp of oil to the wet mix. slowly add the dry mix ( while stiring ) and mix in untill you get a some what wet/dry dough mix. once you get what your looking for , then roll out into a hot dog shape , then cut to the size you desire. once this step is done , then simply roll in your hand into a small ball. once you have a few done ( I do 30 at a time ) I bring a pot of boiling water , dump them into the pot of boiling water , and set a timer for 3 Minutes. once this time has passed , you then set them out of the water onto a drying area for about an hour or so.

    and here's the video:
