not all of us own a boat so i fish alot from shore there is not much information out there about on shore fishing it would be nice to get info is there any?

    It all depends on where you are in the country....In the Boston area, you might try Lake Cochichuate.....bass, trout carp and pike.  I'm taking your name to mean you are in the Boston area....?

Most of the carp fisherman I know are bank fisherman.

They also catch some pretty large carp from the banks.
