I find that the easyest wway to catch carp is to use something that they naturally see. bread is always a goos choice because at many lakes people feed the ducks bread. the the carp take the ones that they dont get. other things like hot dogs and cheese balls also work. if youcan try to go weightless so it looks more natural.
