Mitch try getting some maize (field corn) soak it for a day boil it for a half hour then let it sit in the water you boiled it in for about a week or two. That will ferment it and the grassers seem to like fermented corn. You can chum the area you intend to fish to help get them feeding on the corn. You can also get a tub of old fashioned oats put in a can of cream corn and a can of sweet corn mix it up untill its sticky. Use a slip sinker and pack the oats around it into a ball. and a piece of fermented corn on the hook or tie up a (hair rig) and put the corn on the hair. The oat ball will break open on the bottom of the pond and it will act as chum. This has worked for many people. Give it a try good luck.
