alittle info about it, it is 16' and has 2 floor system with foam in between making it quit'r, of cours square back for easy trolling motor attachment or up to 5hp motor...it's weighs 120# and can hole 900sumtin#'s?  2 things that i don't/didn't like where the seats, they wore out on the conections to the canoe, do to tieing down the boat to tight and bowing the boat, also the materail of the boat hull is soft(compaird to alumunum) and if dragging the boat is need'd on ruff rock it will not last long!!! but a good canoe cart will save that, and my seats are customized now so it is way better, the warrenty coverd the seats and hull for 2 years , and yes i got extra seats for free...

colman has one just like it for a little cheaper but it has a way better middle seat with dry well, cooler and pole/gun lock down...

i wana git a solo kyak one day too!

ibt, i am saving my pennies for a 12-14 ft single or a double kayak for fishing or just taking momma out for some exercise on the lake or river. i haven't fished from one but a friend let me play on his 12 ft. single one day and i had a blast. after i get my jon boat fixed up a bit, i'll get a couple of pics and try to get someone to post them for me as everytime i have tried to post pics i screw it up somehow.

This is a Victory Blast Kayak. We have two of these.  They are  light weight, stable, good entry level kayaks. I can pick them up and put both on the roof of my SUV. I don't think I have ever been in mine without a fishing rod. I sneak up on the fishes alot with this stealth device.  My lovely wife is modeling hers for you here.  Notice how versatile her Life Jacket is as a seat back cushion.  WOMEN!!!@%#

I'm going to step up to a nicer setup someday, but in the meantime I'm having so much fun in these.

nice kayaks stealth....i was going back and forth arguing with myself (sometimes out loud) about getting a canoe or a kayak.......i finally decided on the canoe about two weeks ago.....i can take out my little anglers in the canoe....i can't imagine my 3 or 5 year old being able to go out on the kayak and us getting any kind of decent fishing done.....i'll get my kayak later.....i really want one of the hobies with the peddles.......that seems like a great set up for fishing

my wife bought me a sit in kayak but it was meant for a smaller person than i. i took it to the river and tried to get it going (i had to hang my legs over the gunnels) i would get a few feet and roll it. i stayed with it till i accidentally broke the paddle. i was soaking wet and having a blast. then i did some bank fishing to dry out a bit but was still wet when i got home and she didn't like that so to keep peace in the clan i told her to sell it to one of her friends that wanted it. she said next time i can go and pick out the one i want at a store. she bought it at a yardsale for 50 bucks and she got her money back and i had fun so it was a win-win situation

Thanks,  We have a ball in them.  I have never been in mine without a rod.  You have to get one that fits your fisique or you won't be comfortable let alone dry.  My friend bought a tandem, but he says he ends up doing all the paddling. Also he said it a little harder to manage in the water and transporting. Still cool though.    Yeah, a canoe might better suit a good fishin day with the youngins.

Stillfishin, were you posting a pic of a Blast kayak with upgrades?  If so, the pic didn't show up in your post.  I'd be interested to see it.

Here's my wave walker. I just love it.

I can sit in many positions, stand, stand and paddle.

    Small waters, lakes, rivers, salt.

First one is an older picture, I had hooked up a trolling motor, and it worked great.

Second picture is how I use it now.

Here's a pic of my yaks.  So far I've only used them in the lakes and rivers in the area.  My next trip should be the back bays.

Cool pictures, I just bought a Native watercraft Ultimate 12.

I'm having it set up with a  trolling motor for hands free fishing.

I will post some pictures of it after I pick it up on Saturday.

And the Wavewalker works fine without a motor on it.

Thats why I got the Ultimate 12 yak.

I had a Foldboat (sp) years ago, and can tell you that they can truly be carried in a compact car.  I first transported mine in a '76 Mazda sedan and then later in a hatchback Ford Escort.    They can be a pain to set up and take down until you have practiced it a couple of times.  Mine was an old canvas model-heavy, the newer ones are light.  Try their website, might find a used boat as well as being able to find out lots about the things.

Bassnut, I like the looks of the Waverunner, who does them

I put the name down wrong, it is Folbot.  They have a website, folbot.com and sell boats by mail.  There is also a link for people wishing to buy/sell Folbots.

Well, I sold my Native watercraft Ultimate 12, with my back problems

and leg problems, I could not get out of my yak without rolling out,

my legs/back could not get me out without great pain.

Now I own two WaveWalk Catamaran kayaks.

One is now hooked up with the trolling motor and hands free steering,

I steer with my feet, hands are on the rod at all times.

Wish I had done this in the first place, live and learn!

Sold my Deep-V, never use it, and my buddies have big boats.

I put my yaks away, on the  6th of Dec. Ice is forming, dangit!

    Here's some pictures, enjoy!

I got this yesterday. Perception Manatee DLX 120. It's way better than my last one. I came complete with seat pads, paddle, anchor, cockpit cover and two rod holders (1 flush mpount & 1 deck mount). I'm gonna take it out today for a spin before it rains.

It was cold and damp so I didn't get out. I have a delivery at one of my customers house on Thursday. It's gonna be 80*  so I am going fish and cruise.

    Hey Fred,

I took it out for 2 hrs today. I went up tho the lake in Cunningham Falls Park. I didn't catch anything but it handled well. The wind was blowing 10 MPH and gusting to 25 MPH. The 'yak did well, It went into the wind with no problem turned well and I even went up a creek a good 30 yards in 6 inches of water. I am still taking it out tomorrow for some serious fishing at Black Hills.
