Another new guy of NAFC. I fish SD Bay mostly, but sometimes find myself dodging oar teams in Mission Bay.  I peddle a Hobie Revo.  Looking to get on a PA in the future.  Recently discovered LMB while fishing in central CA (I'll be callin it home in the near future).  Any way, I hope to hook up with other yak anglers in the area.

Later this spring, when the roads open up (around first weekend in May), I would highly encourage you to take you kayak up to some Sierra lakes, like Wishon (on of my favorites) for some kayaking and trout fishing. You could fly fish, troll, or just toss spinners and bait along the lake's edges from your kayak. The fishing can be incredible after the winter thaw out, but the beauty of the area is what brings us back every spring. We make it an annual trip each May to try and be the first one on the lake. Those trout can be voracious for 'crawlers, power bait or spinners. Just a thought. The summer heat may even keep you off the lower level lakes, like Kaweah and Success, and send you up into the Sierras, to lakes like Wishon, Shaver, Courtwright, Huntington and Edison, just to name a few of the closer ones.

Navy, I live in Porterville so pm me if you want to do some fishing. My home lake is Success. For all the yakers in my area, let's go fishing.
