Does anyone have any information on this rod/reel combo?  My local dicks has this on sale 1/2 off for the weekend, but I can't seem to find any reviews on the internet.  Any information will be helpful, Thanks

Sorry, I've never heard of this model. I briefly checked Quantum's site and did not find any info there either.   Is it spinning or casting. fresh or salt.  how much?

I have checked everywhere I can think of to find information on this combo to no success.  It is a baitcasting combo that normally retails at $100 and is on sale down to $50.  The only information the ad gives is it has a 4 bearing system.  I'm going to try and go up tomorrow and see what other information I can get.  I have one baitcasting reel now, it was a cheap one that was given to me and I believe I'll be able to learn how to this system on a better quality reel.

I am new to baitcasting but have always heard that your first baitcaster is the most important. My first baitcast reel was (is) a Shimano Cruxis that is now discontinued. I remain a spinning tackle guy but have learned to use the baitcaster and do see some places it will work, especially in heavy cover. I also bought a Diawa Megaforce combo for trolling work even though it is a baitcaster. I may try throwing with the Diawa soon. BTW, the Diawa combo set me back a whopping $35 from Cabella's! The Shimano combo was over $135. Tom

Try Dicks website and see if anyone left feedback on it. Thats the best advice I can offer.
