I have put together this combo, Quantum energy pti 40 reel, Hurricane redbone 2 pc. rod 7', med/heavy, fast, and Suffix 832 20lb.
And my response is W O W !, this is one heck of a fishing rig, my casts have doubled in length, the line sinks and aides in suspending lures. I just can't say enough about this combo.
Liked it so much I put together two of them.
