I just got my new trout pole im not a huge trout fisherman more into bass, pike, walleye but im pretty excited to use it its a Quantum Bill Dance Select Rod and Reel 5' one piece love this split handle on my bass pole so hopefully i like this one aswell

My Dad got one of those for panfish and it's an absolute dream. Just make sure that when you make your casts that the bail is completely open, as it can sometimes close on the cast. Good choice, though. |

Been using that sort of stuff since 1962 and I love it, skewl is right about the bail though, tossed several lures waaaay out there by snapping light line (I use as light as 2#). |
