Hello all, I just wanted to know if anyone has used this line and what you think of it ??? It is orange on top of the water and turns clear under the water. I bought some and used it this past week and it did a great job.. I could see it on the water really good and when a fish took off with my bait you could really see it good moving across the water..When i reeled it in next to my boat it was really hard to see it under the water (the lake i fish is really clear )..I was woundering if anyone else has used it and what you think about it..THANKS JOHN

I can't speak to the Transoptic, but I have used the Vanish Transition (same principal) and found that it had no abrasion resistance whatsoever. I did not have this problem with the regular Vanish. Tom

My dad bought it for hi new spinning reel and overall we didn't think it was that great, the clear/blue trilene xl is just as good and dosent make so much noice when the line spins around the eyes on the pole

Sorry guys i may have jumped the gun on that line after useing it more the orange faded to clear and it did not hold up to the test of time. I did not have any break offs with it but when it lost the color i thought it might lose some strength so i switched to a differnt rod and reel until i can switch it out...I am disapointed becouse i'm a big time berkley user of all my fishing gear..JOHN

Interesting I've had it on a reel for over a year now and it's never lost it's color changing properties!! and have never had any problems with it in any way. Makes me wonder how yours lost the color??

If you are disappointed in any Berkley line, send them an email describing the problem. I had an issue with some Sensation line I purchased and the responded in a matter of a day or two and had me send in the line. It was replaced within a week! Great customer service if you access it properly! I emailed them through their website and expained the problem, recieved a resonse with return instructions and that was it.
