I heard about Trokar Hooks and was wndering if anybody has used them, are they really "surgically sharpened"? just wondering thanks

The points are based on surgical suter needles. Made for flesh cutting, not cartiledge punching. The hooks are just priced too high for me.

Yes I have used the Trokars and yes they are sharp!!!! BUT I say again BUT!!  the points roll on em quite easy!!! IMHO!! they are no better than other hooks and very over priced!!!!!! I have found that Owner Hooks last longer and are just as sharp if not sharper than the Trokars!!!!

Might be that we are way past the point where we can tell the difference in hook sharpness without lab access. I think retired-psg has it right, if the owner hooks work as well, stay sharp longer and for less money, they sound like the better choice to me.

Yeah makes sense, they are way overpriced 5 hooks for $10! 2$ for a hook>? waaay overpriced

I have always used gamakatsu and have no complaints very well priced and very sharp
