I have been a powerpro guy for years, but was wondering how everything else stacked up. I am looking for a 30lb hi vis yellow braid for offshore salt water. I already use Berkley Vanish for my leaders, so I am good in the department.

    Thanks for the help!

Suffix offers a yellow braid that should work for you.

I recently ordered some Western Tufline XP on E-bay for half the price of Power Pro. I normally use Power Pro myself and I have to say this Tufline is equal if not better! I've caught quite a few bass on it and had NO problems. I'm using the 15lb. yellow with a 10lb. flouro leader.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

My problem with E-Bay is that you cannot count on something you really need being available. I cruise from time to time and will buy "stock up" items but it just seems that when I need something, it's not available. It's not just E-Bay, all the clearance sites like Overstock etc only offer what can be sold at a deep discount ie: stuff a distributor or manufacturer wants to reduce inventory of.

I used to use Power Pro, but changed to Sufix a couple of years ago. They're roughly the same price; however, Sufix seems to work better for me and they offer it in yellow.
